1% For The Planet Member

Through 1% for the Planet Program, left-handesign® has pledged 1% of the sales to the preservation and restoration of the natural environment. Through 1% for the Planet membership our customer community has allowed us to donate to organisations doing significant work in key areas of focus: plastic pollution, reforestation, nature reserve, clean oceans, conservation and climate.

1% for the Planet is an alliance of businesses that understand the necessity of protecting the natural environment. They understand that profit and loss are directly linked to its health, and are concerned with the social and environmental impacts of industry.

We’re a Climate Neutral Organisation

We proudly partner with Trace to be a Climate Neutral organisation.

We worked with the team at Trace to measure our carbon footprint, helping us understand where we could reduce our emissions, and have offset those emissions we can’t currently avoid by funding certified climate projects from the Trace portfolio.

We measure the carbon emissions of our buildings and travel and offset those emissions through certified carbon credits and tree planting.

We offset 12 tonnes of CO2 by funding certified climate projects like Coorong Lakes Biodiversity Conservation, Australia, Generating clean wind energy, India, Katingan Peatlands Conservation, Indonesia, Efficient cookstoves, Nepal, Cool Fire Traditional Land Management, Australia,
Rimba Raya Peatlands Conservation, Indonesia.

This year our goal is to operate on 100% renewable energy.
