We produce and market eco-friendly, sustainable products helping people adopt a greener living. As a trusted stationery brand, we aim to provide transparency for all our users, be accountable for our actions and be committed to preservation. It is all about helping make the world a better place, by providing the right tools and knowledge to help us make better consumption decisions. We have started the movement of 'Use' and 'Grow' instead of 'Use' and 'Throw' your stationery!
We believe that we can make a difference in the actions we take now that can help create a better life on land and below water, by tackling plastic consumption, restoring natural terrestrial ecosystems and by minimising waste.

Providing a solution to this escalating waste problem of reducing the use of plastic and other materials. To educate and create an awareness of our products across the globe by giving an eco-friendly sustainable alternative to using plastic stationery filling up landfills.
We are constantly innovating and designing new products to expand our range, keeping in mind the materials we use should go back to earth creating no waste. We want to create an ecosystem where the community comes together by using the 5R’s Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Repurpose, Recycle methodology to fight waste.
Our Purpose
Our goal is to put nature back into people’s lives. When our products come to the end of life, you can give a new life by planting them. Our 'BĪJ' collections means 'Seed' in Sanskrit ranges from of Pens, Pencils, Notebooks and other paper products are seeded hence making these biodegradable, creating zero waste. We have in total 13 herbs - Tomato, Morning Glory, Spinach, Basil, Coriander, Marigold, Okra, Mustard, Daisy, Wildflowers to name a few.

Being chosen by SIHF to represent Singapore at this annual Handmade Fair must have felt incredibly rewarding, and it's a superb setting to highlight our brand's focus on sustainable stationery.

Meet Radhika
Radhika Mayani is the Founder of Left-handesign®, a sustainable stationery brand based in Singapore and now excited to bring it to Australia. Her journey towards sustainability began when she worked in the hospitality industry in Singapore and witnessed the significant wastage happening in hotels. This experience triggered her determination to find a solution to the waste problem and promote sustainability.
Founded in 2017, Left-handesign® is the result of Radhika's passion for nature and stationery. She managed to strike a balance between these two interests and launched the 'BĪJ' collections, which include a range of stationery products such as pens, pencils, notebooks, and more. What sets these products apart is that they are embedded with seeds, offering users a unique experience when the stationery reaches the end of its life. This innovative approach aligns with her commitment to sustainability and reducing waste.
Radhika Mayani strongly believes that creating awareness about such products is a crucial step in addressing the waste problem and making them a global alternative to single-use stationery. She envisions her products replacing traditional single-use stationery items in various settings, including offices, schools, universities, government organizations, hotels, and beyond.
Her dedication to sustainability and her journey towards creating a positive impact through her brand exemplify her commitment to environmental responsibility and conscious consumerism.
